Advisory committee
Biannual meetings of the advisory committee will supervise the overall progress of the project and ensure optimal knowledge sharing between the partners. The advisory committee will consist of representatives of the major partners and two key industrial non-partners with a special interest in the results of SERC, Danfoss and APC Denmark
Ph.D. and postdoc education
The research of the center will be carried out through education of Ph.D. students and postdocs. There will be a total of 10 Ph.D. projects and 2 postdoc projects. All Ph.D. students will in addition to their main advisor have a number of co-advisors from other institutions, ensuring knowledge sharing of the results between the project partners.

A postdoc position for electrolysis has already been announced and filled during 2006, and the candidate will start working within SERC by March 2007.
In January 2007 the first 7 open Ph.D. student positions were announced.
After two years the results obtained will be evaluated and new Ph.D. and postdoc projects will be defined.
Communication of research results
The results of the project will be disseminated internationally at conferences and by publications in international journals. Prior to this the patentability of the results will be carefully considered, and the extent of publication will be determined in the framework of the partnership agreements and considering future commercial possibilities. The Ph.D. students will also communicate their results through publication of their thesis.
SERC public meetings
The SERC management will organize regular public SERC meetings where the research partners, in particular the associated Ph.D. students, may have the opportunity to interact across the individual projects.
Informal meetings
Informal ad hoc meetings are arranged where appropriate in order to assure information sharing between the individual Ph.D. and postdoc projects.
